Le Bugue is one of the most beautiful natural French regions, in the heart of the Dordogne. It is an ideal starting point to visit the Périgord Noir, region famous for its gastronomy and good wines. The Dordogne is also a place rich in culture and is full of beautiful prehistoric sites, such as the famous cave of Lascaux or the cities of Sarlat and Les Eyzies de Tayac (world capital of history). In total there are 15 sites in the Vézère Valley that have been listed as UNESCO World Heritage since 1979. And for nature lovers, the Perigord-Limousin Regional Park opens its door to more than 1800 km² of protected areas to discover the fauna and flora of this region, with many activities on offer: canoeing, caving, hiking, swimming. Both classified as City of Art and History, the cities of Sarlat and Perigueux offer many restaurants, bars and small shops selling local produce.
The residence is about 3km from Le Bugue town centre, located about 500m from the Vezere river banks. It consists of traditional terraced houses, each with a terrace and an open private garden.
